A Classical and Timeless Kitchen Design

This was one of our most memorable kitchen renovations at Kitchen and Bath. We have gathered a few photos to offer before and after comparisons so that you can feel inspired as you plan your own renovation project. The kitchen in question needed to be transformed to a more functional, beautiful and practical space.

We added a touch of modern architecture to give this place a contemporary vibe. Prior to the renovation, the space looked boring and unremarkable. We managed to make significant changes that completely transformed it. However, certain elements were left intact since they had too much charm and character to do away with.

Older cabinets

We had to give the existing cabinets a chic update. We removed the older ones and replaced them with the chic dark chocolate brown cabinets that add a unique classical appeal to the space. The darker cabinets blended well with the brighter backsplash. The idea was to create a constrast between the cabinets and backsplash as well as the countertop which also has a brighter color. Overall, the dark cabinets were a perfect addition to the place in terms of beauty and functionality since they also created additional storage areas.

Unique fixtures and finishes

We knew this kitchen would do with some fixtures and finishes that stand out. The previous design was poorly planned and the layout offered little style and function. The drawer pulls, quartz countertop and tiled backsplash added some character in the once boring space. We knew the colors would also add some warmth to the new design. We even switched the sink and appliances for more modern finishes.

Beautiful and airy

The resulting design was bright and airy even though we chose to paint the cabinets dark brown. There were natural elements that contributed to warming up the cool space. The distinct look of the countertop also made the place to appear traditional yet modern in its own unique way. Bear in mind that the choice of countertop will not only boost the home’s resale value but also make maintaining easy.

No more cramped and worn out

The previous kitchen had a very cramped and worn-out design. Our contractors used their magic hands to get rid of every aspect that contributed to making the room look cramped. From the worn-out appliances to the plain countertop, the kitchen felt more like a cramped workplace than an inviting one. We made changes in the flooring, walls, backsplash and appliances to ensure this is no longer the case.

There are different aspects of the new design that changed the entire vibe of the space. From the beautiful fixtures to the backsplash tile, the pendants and stunning countertop, this project was certainly a success. The best part is that the client did not spend a fortune to have this remarkable remodel. At less than $30,000, this renovation was made possible with major projects including plumbing work done to bring out the resulting space.
