This project starts with the contractor examining ground conditions to ensure there are no foundation and other structural issues. If there are no structural issues, this will only take between 1 and 2 months.

Pre-construction is very important if the project is to be smooth. It should include such things as getting the relevant permits, drawing up and signing a contract with your contractor, and sourcing for the relevant materials and supplies. Give this stage about 3 months.
