From Old to Bold – Island Kitchen Remodel

After this remodel, the client couldn’t tell that she was stepping into her own home. Everything seemed so sleek and stylish you could hardly tell that it was the same place. We considered every aspect of the kitchen that will contribute to making the space look different. From the faucets to the countertop, flooring and appliances, our remodeling experts did their magic and came up with this beautiful look.

Cabinet restoration

In this project, we made sure the style of cabinetry selected is one that the client can live with for years. You never go wrong with a darker shade of cabinetry that blends with lighter countertop and backdrop. We gave the island cabinetry a unique finish with straight lines that add a clean aesthetic look to the overall space.

Functional and appealing countertop

We made sure the countertop picks up the color from the backsplash. Marble countertops are every homeowner’s dream but the high cost is what keeps most people away. There are some good alternatives to stone such as quartz and laminates. In this case, we chose to remodel with a quartz countertop. The quartz countertop we used is not just cost effective but also easy to maintain and we made sure the client got the best quality. Furthermore, we made sure the style of countertop matched the cabinets and backsplash.

A unique faucet

See how finding a good faucet that pairs well with the sink can instantly transform a kitchen? We made sure the faucet has a nice finish that is polished so that it reflects light and adds luminosity. This faucet also pairs really well with the rest of the cabinet hardware and light fixtures. It adds a unique and subtle detail in the kitchen space.

Style on appliances

The renovated area appears like a chef’s palace with the beautifully-fitted stainless-steel range and hood. Not only did the client invest in high quality appliances with professional features but we also managed to incorporate them in a way that creates a focal point and draws attention to the stunning backsplash. There’s no need to pile the counters with unnecessary appliances like a microwave with the new design.

Make a statement with the backsplash

We took advantage of the beautiful dark-colored tiles to give the kitchen renovation a brand-new backsplash installed horizontally to blend with other elements in the space. We gave the backsplash a darker color than it was before making it stand out and adding depth in the area.

Unique hardware

Check out the beautiful stainless-steel pulls on the cabinets and all drawers. They blend perfectly with the appliances and backsplash. Every piece of hardware was carefully chosen to create a unified look. From the drawer pulls to the faucet and door knobs, we made sure the style and finish is perfectly done to bring out a sleek and modern look. We loved renovating this island kitchen and felt even better when the client was speechless after seeing the ultimate look.
