This bathroom remodeling project was mere proof that you can make simple and low-cost updates to refresh the space with minimal time. We’ll share some renovation ideas that worked perfectly for our clients.
Bathroom vanity
The new vanity improved the overall style of the bathroom. It also added an open space between the bottom of the vanity and the flooring. We love how simple yet elegant the new vanity appeared. The double drawers added would provide additional storage.
Creative tile accents
Tiling on the floor of the shower was an affordable upgrade that added glamor in the once-boring space. Tiling the walls of the shower area also added a bit of sparkle making it easy to keep clean and maintain. Porcelain tiles are particularly a great choice in the bathroom since they can resist the elements and last for years with minimal maintenance. The tiling made it possible to create a nice finish without having to paint the shower area.
Glass shower door
Replacing the shower curtain with a sliding glass shower door was certainly a great idea. Not only did this open up the space but it also added a unique character to the place. Sliding glass doors usually work excellently in small bathrooms where there’s not enough room to open and close a traditional door type.
Smart storage
It is easy for bathrooms to be cluttered with everything from cosmetics to styling kits and anything in between, we had to provide the best storage for this kind of place. We opted to add extra drawers on the vanity in order to make a practical and pretty storage area. Since the place was rather small, we did not want to cramp it up with walls of cabinets. The smart storage in the vanity will allow the homeowners to put everything in its place.
Luxury shower
The handheld showerheads and body spray added an extra touch of luxury in this small and simple space. We wanted to make sure the homeowners enjoyed an invigorating and lavish shower experience after the makeover was complete. The handheld showerheads were very easy to install and did not cause the remodeling costs to skyrocket.
Classic white
We knew the area would have a completely different look and feel when we changed its color. We transformed this space from the boring and dull-looking painting it had before to a white and grayish color scheme that gave it a very minimalistic yet timeless appeal. The walls are now white which tends to create an illusion of a larger space and also open up the area to allow more light in. We love how the white wall blended perfectly with the vanity, the new toilet and shower area.
Overall, this renovation project helped to enhance the beauty and functionality of the small place. The entire renovation costed less than $20,000 which included the cost of plumbing and other technical work.
